Westwood, MA – April 17 will mark the 121st running of the Boston Marathon and a full day of the New England Acura Dealers spreading “We Are Boston” spirit along the marathon course as the official automotive sponsor of the 2017 Boston Marathon. Among more than 30,000 participants journeying from Hopkinton to the finish line on Boylston Street, attendees will find Taylor Maccario (24) of Nahant, Mass. and Sarah Spangler (46) of Nashua, NH representing Prime Acura.
On Friday, the New England Acura Dealers Association (NEADA) sponsored the sixth annual La Gala de Milagros para Niños to benefit Latino children and families who rely on Boston Children’s Hospital for health services.
La Gala de Milagros para Niños was held on Friday, Sept. 18, at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel, with sponsors, guests, and honorees attending in full force to support Boston Children’s Hospital. Emmy award-wining journalist John Quiñones (ABC News correspondent and host of ABC’s “What Would You Do?) acted as the master of ceremonies for the evening, highlighting the hospital’s amazing work in pediatric care and the contributions of philanthropists and sponsors. The 2015 gala included dinner, dancing, and a silent auction, and honored Cecilia M. Matos, M.A. and Carlos Rodriguez-Galindo, M.D. with the Milagros para Niños Award for compassionate caregiving.
The New England Acura Dealers Association (NEADA) participated as one of the top-level sponsors in the 22nd Annual Philip and Bernice Frieze Charity Golf Tournament to benefit Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) on July 20th.
Organized and sponsored by Gordon Brothers Group, the tournament took place at Pinehills Golf Club with 215 golfers playing on two courses, including Adam Connolly, Chris Connolly Sr., Brendan Connolly and Dick Arnone representing the Herb Connolly Auto Group.
BOSTON – Furthering its commitment, the New England Acura Dealers Association, along with John Freida, Modern Salon, Color Wow, Boston Magazine, and local radio station KISS 108 FM, sponsored the 6th annual HairRaising Cut-A-Thon, a beauty-themed fundraising event supporting Boston Children’s Hospital.
On March 12, the NEADA kicked-off its HAIRraising social campaign on Facebook, asking fans to repost the promotion in return for a $5,000 donation to the initiative if it reached 200 shares. Within the first two hours of being live, the post received over 600 shares.
For the second consecutive year, the New England Acura Dealers Association (NEADA) presented Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) with a check for an additional $25,000 donation, thanks to the help of their loyal service customers.
From Dec. 2, 2014 to the end of 2014, the NEADA donated 10 percent from every customer’s service bill to BCH. The NEADA also matched 10 percent of customers’ service bills with a donation to BCH. The additional donation comes after the association’s recent announcement to extend their initial Nov.-2012 pledge of support to donate $500,000 to BCH over a two-year span to $1 million over a four-year span.
In their continued support of Boston Children’s Hospital, the New England Acura Dealers were proud to be a part of the latest signature events to benefit the hospital – the ninth annual Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament on May 9 and the inaugural Rue with a View on May 16.
In honor of the New England Sports Network (NESN) hosting Boston Children’s Hospital Night during its NESN telecast of the Boston Bruins game, the New England Acura Dealers will be sending three lucky Facebook fans to the game on April 8. Each lucky fan received two tickets to the game just by “liking” the New England Acura Dealers’ Facebook page.
The New England Acura Dealers expects continued growth in the Acura brand after catching a glimpse of the strong new-model Acura lineup at the 2013 New England International Auto Show, which was held in the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in the Seaport District, Jan. 17 – 21.
The New England Acura Dealers have pledged to raise $500,000 for Boston Children’s Hospital, establishing a two-year relationship benefiting one of the top pediatric medical centers in the U.S. A portion of the proceeds from every Acura sold in each of its seven dealerships will go toward the hospital. Acura will also be recognized as the “Official Car” at all signature fundraisers benefiting Boston Children’s Hospital.
